Fun with Fingerpaints

NOTD from last Friday!

This was inspired because I just bought some new Hit Polish glitters, and the Fingerpaints color and wanted to use them together!

I must say Fingerpaints is not my favorite, based on this color. It dried wierdly matte, and even with topcoat still sort of looked that way. Also chips fairly easily.

The black is not my favorite either- China Glaze Liquid Leather. I feel like it ges all over during clean up and sometimes stains.

Mani is:

Blue- Fingerpaints Inkblot Blue
Black- China Glaze Liquid Leather
Glitter- Hit Polish Vintage Appeal

Hit Polish Witches Brew Jelly Sandwich

Here are two quick iPhone photos of a recent mani. My cuticles look pretty awful, as does my nail filing job. But, when you've got a full time job as a legal aid attorney, these are things that are just not really top of the list.

Mani is:
Base coat
2 coats Wet n Wild 2% Milk
1 coat Hit Polish- Witches Brew
1 coat 2 % Milk
1 coat Hit Polish Witches Brew
SV Top Coat

Jelly Sandwich!

Sponge Mani #2

Here is a quick NOTD from last week or so. It's my second attempt at a sponge mani. My first I'll post in a bit, but it didn't go to well. So, I thought I'd try another.

Orly Bonder
3 Coats of OPI My Pointe Exactly
Sponged- 2 coats on tips of Sally Hansen Salon Effects Barely Blue Bell
1 coat Revlon Whimsical
1 coat Seche Vite

Looks OK... will probably try another when I have more guts. Maybe 3 colors!
